AirAsia X to fly direct to Tehran from KL and Bangkok

The announcement from AirAsia X and Thai AirAsia X to introduce direct flights to Tehran from Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok marks an exciting development in the expansion of their route network. This move not only connects two major Southeast Asian cities directly to the Iranian capital but also reflects the growing economic and tourism potential of Iran following the lifting of sanctions.

Benyamin Ismail, CEO of AirAsia X, highlighted Tehran's significance as a vibrant business hub and noted the positive impact that direct flights could have on bilateral relations, trade, and tourism between Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, and Tehran. The decision to launch these routes underscores the airline's commitment to tapping into emerging markets and meeting the evolving travel demands of passengers.

In celebration of this milestone, AirAsia X is offering promotional fares starting from RM299 for economy seats and RM999 for Premium Flatbeds departing from Kuala Lumpur. This promotional offer aims to make travel more accessible and affordable for passengers looking to explore Tehran and experience the rich cultural heritage and economic opportunities it has to offer.
